GO TEXAN is an initiative started by the Texas Department of Agriculture. It's all about helping Texas based businesses of all kinds. It started mainly to promote agricultural business, but has expanded to almost anything made in the state of Texas.
Later this month my company is helping to sponsor the Restaurant Roundup. If you eat at participating restaurants during Sept 28 to Oct 2, a portion of your meal will be going to the area's food bank. There seems to be a wide range of restaurants involved, from nice places like Eddie V's to McDonald's. Click here to see a list of your area.
This is a great cause and all you have to do is eat out. Help the food banks and Texas businesses at the same time.

OOOoooo.....sounds like a GREAT excuse not to cook!! I have those everyday, but this one will last for a whole week!

I love the Go Texan initiative. It was a dream for awhile to work for them! So, I think I'll have to just participate as well :)
